This is an iconic Marimekko design from the 50's. Feisty designer Maija Isola was so annoyed by a directive not to design florals that she designed an entire floral range in protest. The Unikko design has gone on to be one of the company's most famous designs. This colourway in black, white and a hint of green feels very contemporary and versatile. This would be amazing as curtains, roman blinds or simply hung on the wall. This print is on a 100% cotton sateen, which is why it is slightly more expensive than the other colourway on 100% cotton.
