Ink and Spindle (AUS)

Ink and Spindle is boutique hand screen printing studio based in Melbourne Australia. There are two partners Lara and Tegan who in addition to being talented textile designers share a passion for the environment. This follows through in the way they produce their work.

To reduce their impact on the environment they use solvent free, water based inks, unbleached base cloths and organic cottons where possible.

All their printing is done by hand, so there are sometimes small variations in the print quality. If you want perfection choose a machine printed fabric and if you appreciate the time and love that goes into this work - enjoy one of these!

Motivated by a love of fabric and design we make it fun and easy to choose beautiful things for your home. We are always on the hunt for new designers & products, so pop back regularly - there is always something new in store.

Almost all of the fabrics & home furnishing products are held in stock, so you can have them straight away. Additionally we custom make products in our Christchurch Workroom, so you can get exactly what you want to individualise your home, while supporting New Zealand made.
