Hi and welcome to our first newsletter of 2011.
 

In this newsletter we have an interview with the colourful and talented Decoupage Artist Sheryl Schoenfeld, we have lots of new products and new fabrics to introduce you to, and this week's special deal is on the new collection from Esther Diamond - so not an offer to be missed!

Interview with Decoupage Artist Sheryl Schoenfeld:

I first met Sheryl in store at Bolt of Cloth in December 2009.  Instantly fascinated by what she was shopping for fabric for, I asked to see some of her work. Wow!  Since that chance meeting we have sold some of her work in store, she has made some pieces especially for us (most popular of which is the coveted Frida Kahlo chair) and she now runs courses for all the people that have been so inspired by her work that they want to give it a go themselves.   -> click here to read to full interview

New In Store:

Fabric Tape - we have all heard of decorated sticky-tapes - now we would like to introduce you to fabric tape.  Stronger than your usual paper tapes, these 5m rolls of Japanese tapes are not only perfect for the finishing touch on gifts, but are strong enough to complete all sorts of craft projects.   click here to see the range:

Trims - we have been asked a lot about trims, and now here is the first range we have decided to stock.  There is a number of strapping and cords in different designs and thicknesses (perfect for details such as bag and apron straps), and some decorative trims and tassles for finishing touches.  We are looking forward to incorporating them into our own designs!

New fabrics in store - we have a lot of new Japanese designs in store. These include some beautiful new fabrics suitable for children, some wider fabrics perfect for duvets, and some just plain beautiful and unique designs.  Some of our favourites from the new stock are featured below:
